Overview

OT Pathways ("the App") is a clinical reference tool designed for licensed occupational therapists. This Privacy Policy describes how the App handles information.

Information We Collect

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name and email address to authenticate you and manage your user profile.

Subscription Information: If you start or restore a subscription, Apple and our subscription service provider, RevenueCat, process purchase information and subscription status so the App can confirm and maintain access to paid features. OT Pathways does not receive or store your full payment card details.

App Usage Data: The App stores your saved favorite diagnoses and lookup preferences locally on your device. This data does not leave your device and can be cleared at any time.

Information We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect, store, or transmit patient health information (PHI) or medical records.
• We do not collect precise location data, contacts, photos, or microphone/camera input.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

How Information Is Used

• To authenticate your account and provide access to the App.
• To verify subscription status and provide access to paid features.
• To display your saved favorites on your device.
• To generate AI-assisted clinical suggestions when library results are limited. These requests send your selected diagnosis, severity, and filter criteria to our AI provider for the sole purpose of generating a response; the data is not used to train AI models.

Data Security

All data transmission uses industry-standard HTTPS encryption. Access to your account is protected by authentication tokens managed by our hosting platform.

Third-Party Services

The App uses third-party services to operate, including hosting infrastructure, AI language model providers, Apple for in-app purchases, and RevenueCat for subscription management and entitlement verification. These providers process information as needed to deliver their services and are subject to their own privacy and data protection commitments.

Data Retention

Your account information is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account at any time through the App's profile settings, which permanently removes your account information.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

You may access, correct, or delete your account information by contacting us at the support email listed on the App's support page.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted within the App or on this page with an updated revision date.
